Perry J. Koplik, AIF®, CPFA®

The founder of Preferred Financial Partners, Perry Koplik has close to four decades of experience focused on developing qualified and non-qualified retirement plans for organizations of all types. Over the course of his career, Perry has become known for this knowledge and is a frequent speaker to industry audiences on pension plans, health benefit plans, and standards of conduct.

Perry is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designee, which means that he has satisfied experience and training requirements to implement a prudent process into his own investment practices, as well as being able to assist others in doing so. In collaboration with Trust Services, Perry and his firm help clients who are trustees meet their fiduciary responsibilities. 

Working with organizations has exposed Perry to the complex financial planning needs of business owners and executives. Frequently, a conversation about an organization’s needs leads to further exploration of the owner or executive’s future plans, including succession, exit and legacy design. “We have the luxury of spending time with our clients – which we use to uncover a host of topics all of which pertain to how money will help shape their vision for the future,” says Perry. 

A classically trained concert musician, Perry taught music at the college level when he was only seventeen years old. He eventually went on to build and run a music school. A single job interview in his early twenties introduced him to financial services, and allowed his talents to be expressed in an entirely new field.  Preferred Financial Partners is now a multi-generational family-owned financial practice based in New Jersey, and serves client throughout the entire United States. 

Perry and his wife, Debbie, are proud parents and grandparents to an ever-growing family.
